WELCOME
A cohousing community building for the over-60s of 1,2 and 3-bedroom apartments for lease with over 800m2 of communal areas. It is a project for older people who feel young and want to have active lives adapted to their needs, enjoying a wide variety of activities and services designed with the users in mind, in which prevention is especially important.
A project developed by the Gralusa Group within its division for residential cohousing projects for the over-60s. Gralusa is a union of property development, construction, hospitality and real estate companies with over 45 years of experience. It is a conservative family-run business based on three pillars: QUALITY, SAFETY AND COMMITMENT.
For this extremely innovative project, Gralusa has collaborated with Juan José Carrillo, a retirement home manager with a wide range of experience in the health and social care sector.

GranadaCohousing is a new residential concept of apartments for lease aimed at people over 60 years old which combines living in a fully equipped independent residence with facilities and services aimed at promoting independent living, physical exercise, good health and social interaction between the members and their surroundings.
We originated as a complex of independent residences with communal areas and services, creating a lifestyle based on the principles of personal independence, safety and participation. The collective spaces are organized around the wants and needs of the users and their physical and intellectual fitness, as well as focusing on the promotion of good health and the potential loss of independence.
This model has been developed around the concept of Active Aging, a term coined by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1999, understood as “the process through which the opportunities for physical, social and mental well-being are optimized throughout a person’s life with the objective of increasing healthy life expectancy, productivity and quality of life as people age.”.
It is the response to a major social change in understanding and experiencing the passage of time, supported by a fitting residential model.

LOCATION
The cohousing community is at nº46, Avenida Luis Miranda Dávalos in the city of Granada. It is opposite the Granada Chamber of Commerce. It is uniquely positioned: surrounded by the green areas of a tree-lined avenue and a park. The area boasts an extensive variety of services : a health centre (300m), a pharmacy, a shopping centre and banks. A local bus stop and tram stop are only 100m away.
